3 Kids In Meth Lab
Three children were taken into protective custody Thursday after a working meth lab was found in their home, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department said.
Deputies were called to a mobile home park for a welfare check on the children, ages 9 months, 2 years and 5 years, police said.
The deputies reported seeing the meth lab inside with the children and their mother. As officers were waiting for the drug task force to arrive, they pulled over a vehicle that had passed nearby with the children’s father police said.
There was a working meth lab in the vehicle, which was located using a Warsaw police dog, police said.
Both parents were arrested on charges of dealing/manufacturing meth and neglect of a dependent. The driver was charged with dealing methamphetamine.
Bail amounts for all were set at $10,000.
The Indiana Clandestine Lab Team was called to help with removal of both methamphetamine labs.
